Silver circle brooch with hole and gold ball detail

This modernist, round silver brooch has a round cut out with an 18ct yellow gold ball on the inside curve. The front of the brooch has a brush finish. It has a double steel pin for a secure fit. 

The gold ball collection is influenced by the simplicity of forms of early modern art, with clean lines and fundamental shapes like circles. The gold sphere balances on the curve or peeks out from behind the silver.

This brooch is 33mm in diameter and about 3mm deep. 

All items are designed and handmade by Machi. Made with sterling silver, argentium silver and 18ct gold. Argentium silver has a slightly higher silver content than sterling silver and tarnishes less.

Comes in a lovely gift box.
