Flat flat flat brooch

This large hollow silver brooch has a shiny double concave feature with very subtley rounded edges both on the front and on the back. The double concave feature on the back is a smaller version of the one on the front. All the subtley rounded edges have the same lovely radius. I call this my Flat Flat Flat brooch because it has the most crispy edges - they are rounded but ever so slightly. The front and back of the brooch have a subtle brush finish, while the concave features have a high shine finish. The brooch has soft edges, making it wonderfully pleasant to touch. There is a double steel pin on the back for a secure fit. The catches for the pin echo the shape of the sides of the brooch with curved edges. 

The radius collection is created through the combination of the crisp shapes of early modern art and the handmade steel tools that Machi made herself to create soft, rounded edges. The tactile nature of the jewellery in the radius collection invite the wearer to handle them, feel their weight, touch their edges and explore their details.

All items are designed and handmade by Machi. Because every piece is handmade by me, some slight variations may occur. Made with sterling silver and argentium silver. Argentium silver has a slightly higher silver content than sterling silver and tarnishes less. Hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
