Are you new to jewellery making? Do you want to see what it’s like to make your own silver jewellery?

“Introduction to Silver Jewellery Making” introduces you to jewellery making, covering many of the basic skills and tools involved. This includes forming, forging, sawing, filing, sanding, soldering and polishing. You will make three silver rings that you can wear home at the end of the day. The first ring will introduce you to all the basics, the second ring will allow you to explore texturing metal and the third ring is all about how to twist wire for decorative effect.

A day is 10am – 4pm and includes materials for set projects for £160 per person (my workshop can accommodate a maximum of 2 students).

Please bring your own lunch. I have plenty of tea/water/cordial!

It will get dusty, so an apron is optional but wear something that is ok to get dusty. No dangly jewellery or sandals, and please tie long hair back. You will need to be able to see small items, so please bring your glasses if you have them!
